The Group’s story began in the late 1800s in Muscat when Mohamed Fadhel, a man of ambition and business acumen, became the Principal Assistant at Towell Group & Co. in 1883. His dedication culminated in him purchasing the company in 1914, establishing a foundation that would thrive across generations.
From its Omani roots, Towell Group expanded its footprint across the region, including Kuwait (1947), Iraq (1956), and Dubai (1967). Towell Group was a willing participant in Oman’s modern renaissance era beginning in 1970. In 2010, Towell Group restructured into seven key sectors, with Real Estate emerging as a central pillar, reinforcing the family’s 100% commitment to Towell Group’s strategic objectives.
